Is there an outlet store in the Las Vegas area that sells discounted outdoor equip? Like tents/hiking boots and other things for people who travel/backpack or are outdoors-ish?
Try the one at ProBass

I have noticed on the web some talk about "nude hiking or nude camping." Is this popular? And where do you go for this activity. I have seen couples at the beach nude. They camp out on the beach in tents. They come out of their tent and stay "au natural" for the day, just soaking up sunshine!
With all the perils one encounters while camping and hiking, such as mosquitos, poison ivy, prickles, poison oak, stinging nettle, and other bug bites, I would assume that it’s not very popular.

Myself and a friend, in order to raise money for charity, want to go on a 7-day "live off the land" style hike in England. Does anyone have any informative websites on doing this? We want to find a route and go from one end to the other, but we need somewhere where we can just pitch our tents wherever, we don’t want a campsite or somewhere "touristy" – any suggestions/tips/links?
Thanks a bunch.
It’s great that you want to raise money for charity, but I would strongly advise against just pitching your tents anywhere. You must think about your safety.
You specifically say you don’t want to stay on camp sites or in tourist areas. I would suggest you have a look at publications which list farms/farmhouses which do bed and breakfast. The people who run them might be happy for you to pitch your tents on their land because you’re walking for charity.
WH Smith sell these books, or you can pick up booklets from Tourist Information offices. If you know your route, you could then contact a few farmhouse owners and see if they’re willing to help you.

This is the next day after we get up and moving around. I was ill prepared for the cold weather last night. The sleeping bag I used was too light for 40 degree weather.
The trip was a lot of fun and everyone had a good time.

I need high quality, cheap prices.
Probably the cheapest shelter you could find would be a sheet of 8′ x 8′ 5 mil plastic sheeting at the hardware store, tied to guy-lines with either the pebble method and/or sheet bends at the corners, and set up Ray Jardine style with a couple of sticks and a set of stakes: http://tinyurl.com/4pqvm5. Just don’t think a plastic tarp is an inferior shelter; it provides more living space, lighter weight, more rain protection, and ventilation superior to any tent, practically eliminating condensation
To improve on a plastic tarp you could sew a Ray Jardine Tarp Tent from the kit: http://tinyurl.com/3u3bld or purchase a silnylon tarp:http://www.campmor.com/outdoor/gear/Product___20069
And before working our way up into tents, let’s not forget the ultimate single person shelter, the Hennessy Hammock: http://hennessyhammock.com/
To answer your question the top quality Big Agnes Seedhouse SL 1 Tent weighs just a little more than the most UL Hennessy Hammock: http://www.rei.com/product/734816
