What is an ice box in a pop up tent trailor. Is this another name for fridge or is it different?

Monday, March 29th, 2010

An ice box looks like a small refrigerator, but doesn’t have any cooling coils or compressor. Kind of like a portable ice chest, only built in to the camper. It uses a big block of ice to keep your food cool for several days.

can i fit a blow up doulble mattress in a pop up tent?

Monday, March 22nd, 2010

i’m going to get a pop up tent but it doesn’t have the dimensions anywhere, so I have no idea if I can fit a double blow up mattress in it:S

Now somewhere on the tent will be it’s size, if your buying it new the package it comes in will tell you. If your getting it used ask the current owner. if you still can’t figure it out role it out and measure the tent floor area, and last before you go out in the woods do this at home set it up and as others have said try it out. It is the most stupidest thing to do going out in the woods and not know a thing about your tent.

Camping, For pop up tent owners, Flash, Quechua and other makes….?

Sunday, March 14th, 2010

I am thinking of buying one of those pop up tents, however I want to find out if anyone else has one or has experienced one, obviously the first thing is they couldn’t be easier to put up but how are they once they are up, do they have as much space as a regular, are they weather proof, do they sag/break?? These are a few questions I ask before parting with nearly £80 ($160) to buy one.. Thanks

Here are links to reviews of the Quechua 2-Second Tent:

Seems like they’d be good for car camping, where there’s no wind (indoors?), and for one person. Really, it’s just a novelty.

Pop up tents, any good ?

Sunday, March 7th, 2010

A brilliant invention Phil as far as I’m concerned. Although I still make the Scouts pitch up traditional tents – well that’s what Scouting’s all about isn’t it LOL. Takes them an hour and 2 mins to do mine !
