i looked in every single website for these tents, nd i only seem 2 find them in european websites, Do they sell these in the U.S??
is yes, where can i find them?
Unfortunately, these were recalled in the US due to failure to meet a US flammability standard. I understand they are still available in Europe. See the link below for details of the recall.
Ok so i’ve posted this in the hunting section – Shoot me
I’m a noob
Are you just wondering about the typical tent or the pop-up trailer? Any of those tents with a crank handle type system have pretty sketchy reliability. Sometimes they work, other times they lower back down while your sleeping or won’t crank back down when it’s time to leave your campsite..
I bought a 3 person Coleman tent a few years ago that I’ve used camping for over a months worth of time in the last three years. I think I’ll probably still get several more years out of it. Most of the Coleman tents now come with the tent posts connected with string, so you just have to put the pieces together without worrying about which pieces go where.. I can set it up by myself in about 10 minutes, though it’s a little easier with two people. Taking it back down is even faster.
It’s so simple you just spread the tent out and put a tent pin through the corner ring in all four corners, then just put together the two separate lengths of supports, they get threaded through the top of the tent and then the ends hook over another piece located at the corners of the tent. You tie the supports on in about 6-8 different places, then you just have to put the smaller support together for the tarp that comes with it to go over it. The directions are even sewn into the tent bag so you can’t lose them. Though, I only had to glance at them the first time I put it together.
We’ve had the tent out in rain and somewhat windy weather and it’s been just fine. If you plan on sleeping directly on the floor rather then on a cot, then plan on buying another tarp to put under the ten. That cuts down a bit on the condensation that seems to come up from the ground.

Im going camping this summer and its going to be HOT. I have a 6 month old that I will need to keep cool. We have electrical hookup at the site. Is it safe to use a portable air conditioning unit in a pop up tent trailer?
Yes but there two issues you will need to address. One is you will need to find a place to securely fasten the air conditioner so that it vents to the outside and cannot fall on anyone. The second point is the campsite electrical power. Be sure the air conditioner does not draw more amps than your campsite hookup. That hookup could be 15, 20, 30 or 50 amps. The 15 and 20 amps will have a standard household plug, but the 30 and 50 amp hookups have special plugs. So you also need to be sure the plug on your air conditioner is compatible with your hookup – if not, you can probably buy an adapter. The campground owner should be able to supply you with the electric hookup information.
This video shows how the off-road pop-up tent trailers work. Gives a description and a good visual of what this new product is all about.

I’m going to be looking at a pop-up tent trailer tonight, never had one before so I’m wondering what the common problems are to watch for.
1. is your car good enough to pull a trailer?
2. is the trailer large enough to keep everyone happy when it is raining outside?
3. is the trailer small enough that you can manage it?
4. How easy is it to set up and level?
5. can you set it up alone?
6. how fast can you set it up in the rain?
7. if it isn’t new, be sure you inspect the floor for rot
8. how easy/fast can you break it down—-by yourself?
9. Are the beds comfortable and easy to set up?
Use the showroom and do it yourself several times with the help of your sales person.
