Tents

I am going on a school trip to Cathedral lakes during september and was wondering how the Ozark Trail 9’x8’ Sport Dome Tent would hold up if we waterproofed it

Yep yep! I have two of them. I use them and so do the kids. I mean I wouldn’t climb Everest with it or anything, but for the price and weight you cant go wrong for just a general, run of the mill camping trip. I have used them year round and for the price I don’t have any complaints. I have not water proofed the tent but have not had problems with leakage. If you are talking about a serious back packing trip I would go with a better quality tent that is lighter and better constructed such as one sold by REI.
